For Single Turbo kit, this is the best design and quality I've seen. Great intercooler. I've used this brand before and it flows nice and cools off great too. The price is right as well.
It would be nice to see a couple of videos while the car is being driven showing how the power comes on. |

They may, but you can not get an EO number without the catalytic converters in place.
The EO number, when they get it, makes the kit street legal. 10-30 hp or street legal, too many the street legal is more important. Last edited by Team STILLEN; 10-21-2010 at 06:47 PM. |

Yes technically the Cats are robbing power as they act to dampen the exhaust gas volume and velocity going to the turbine but as stated you cannot get a CARB Exempt turbo kit without them. Keeping them there means 50 state street legal. Although honestly with as much power as this kit is making with the cats at only 8 PSI it's not a HUGE trade off for a turbo kit I don't have to hide from the Smog people or cops.

To my knowledge the Tuner kit uses all the same hardware (turbo, intercooler, piping, mounts, etc) but does not include the Diablosport tuner, the injectors, or the plugs or obviously any of the stuff needed to put those in. As long as the LT headers chosen end either before or at where the Turbonetics kit bolts up (or you are willing to cut the LT headers slightly if needed) it should bolt up. I've looked at a bunch of LT headers on here and don't see any that would have an issue if you are willing to cut or modify them slightly.

You have to love how much torque a turbocharger makes.

Regift the stock airbox? Tuning with a predator? Kills the buzz for me.
