3 Way Rocker Switches for Heated/Cooled Seats

Hi Guys,

I really did try to search for something similar but no luck. Forgive me if this is covered a dozen times and I just missed it.

So I'm having my front seats re-upholstered with leather, and adding heating and cooling to the them (birthday present from wifey) It's a pretty simple process but I am not seeing a great place to install the 2x 3-way rocker switches that come with the kit. I was considering the center console, one on each side up close to the shifter, ahead of the e-brake handle.

It's not completely flat there, and it may be an issue with fit and cosmetics. My question is, has anyone done something like this, and if so where did you locate the switches? Or heck, if you have a good suggestion regardless of having done it, I'm pretty open.

Does the surface need to be flatter? I really would like the switches out in the open and not inside the center box. And the switches are way too big/wrong shape for the OEM seat heater location. Thanks again guys...

Thank you,
Ray

Hate to bump this, but has no one added after market switches for heated/cooled seats? I don't see a ton of really great spots for the switches and they won't fit in the OEM switch as it's a 3 way switch. Anyone? Bueller?

You may get suggestions if you post pictures of the switches.

Fair enough.... how's this?

They may be a little bigger than the area larry posted but not a bad idea. I will look at that. But if anyone has other better ideas, I'm extremely open to suggestion. LOL

Put your switches on the sides of the center console. The panels are easily removable to drill out an opening, and you can locate them wherever it is convenient and out of the way along the length.
