Hey Guys...I AM GOING TO PUT KOOKS HEADERS 1 7/8 AND KOOKS 3 INCH CAT BACK ALONG WITH A ROTO FAB CAI...2SS WILL BE RE TUNED...ANY THOUGHTS AS TO WHETHER THERE WILL BE PROBS ON AN INSPECTION STICKER?

As long as you get the check engine light tuned out because of the headers and the tech doesn't give you a hard time about the aftermarket exhaust you should be just fine.

any altering of exhaust is illegal in MA...good luck

Altering the location of the Cats in relation to the engine is illegal.
Cat back systems are fine.

If you get your car tuned properly to pass the OBDII test AND they do not look under your car / notice you have headers your car will pass.

Installing Headers and moving the cats is still illegal though.

Luckilly nobody enforces it.If they did I'd have probly 500 customers failing inspections...LOL

Look ma, no Mass air meter or 02 sensors

Yes,legally passed the plug in test.

Your taking a risk, depending on the guy doing the sticker you'll either pass (cause he didn't follow all the procedures) or fail cause as stated any mods to the cats are illegal.

Go in expecting to fail, if you pass you'll have another year not having to worry about it

chapter 90 section 16 of the MGL...No person shall operate a motor vehicle on any way which motor vehicle is equipped (1) with a muffler from which the baffle plates, screens or other original internal parts have been removed and not replaced; or (2) with an exhaust system which has been modified in a manner which will amplify or increase the noise emitted by the exhaust.....

altho with a camaro...i doubt anyone will care...mustangs have mad loud exhaust and i hear no complaints from them

So, if you shut off the O2 reporting with a tune, it will still pass the monitor check for a sticker? Good to know.
