Convertible Spoiler?

Are there any spoilers for the convertibles? Almost all of the pics I have found are of the stock one, and I am looking to see what options I have to change it.

Thought coupe and vert shared the same spoiler bolt pattern. As coupes have swapped on vert spoilers so any spoiler should fit vert or coupe correct?

I am not sure. I have seen several on the GM site, and they all say NOT for convertibles.

They do share the same bolt pattern but the convertibles have an antenna inside the spoiler.

We are currently working on a new bottom for the MPD1 spoiler just for the convertibles. I have done several conversions so its time to make a dedicated mold.

Which antenna? I knew they moved the fin to the trunk lid.

Thats it and cant you just buy a aftermarket internal antenna and locate it in the trunk

I have seen where people have removed the antenna from the stock vert spoiler and installed it in the dovetail blade spoiler. You have to be careful when removing it to keep from damaging the antenna wire. An antenna inside the trunk won't work because the trunk lid will block the signal.

KalCorp has done a quick writeup on relocating the AM/FM antenna into the rear fascia for the convertibles here: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=272540

The issue with the "non-convertible" spoilers is generally due to that AM/FM antenna located inside the factory spoiler. Not sure how difficult it is to remove the antenna from the stock spoiler, but could order a replacement antenna and relocate it to the rear fascia, leaving the original antenna in the factory spoiler in case you'd be interested in "un-doing" the process later if you sell the car or change your mind on the mod.

There is a company on e-bay called The Spoiler Company that lists a painted one for $209.

I have the Z/TA Spoiler and they have a convertible version. It allows you to transfer the antenna from the stock to the new one.

Pics can be found in this thread
http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...ghlight=z%2Fta

Also SLP makes a spoiler for the convertible as well.
