Car #19734 arrived yesterday and was striped this morning. Built the week of June 19th and have it already. There is a bonus to being an hour and change away from the plant. Absolutely love the color in person and it is the first compliment I hear after "love the car". Only a 100 clicks on the car but in lust already. First impressions........skip shift is a non-issue, you have to be at an absolute crawl for it to engage. Haven't driven a standard in about 20 years so getting used to the clutch again is a treat

Much to the delight of the crowd gathered at the dealership when I was leaving I stalled it

Have still got the old 4 speed mentality so I'm putting it in gears that I don't need to (it is very comfortable going around a slow corner in 3rd. No reason to go any lower). Have no regrets about the way I optioned it out but for anyone looking and wondering here are a couple observations in hindsight......don't think I would spend the money for the polished wheels, I haven't had a chance to really go at mine yet but am disappointed they aren't brighter. I would still go with the RS package and the special wheels that come with it and put the $500 for the polished wheels towards a set of custom rims. I basically spent $1380 on the RS package to get the HID headlights (but those halos are verrrrry cool), painted roof rails (which on the aqua blue does make a huge difference) and red SS badges. Boston Acoustic upgrade has amazing sound

Haven't had it out much but the attention is staggering........my wife finds out about the attention the women give it and I'm dead meat

I feel very fortunate to have ordered at the beginning of March and to be driving it already, hang in there everyone it's well worth the wait.

Here's my new ride coming off the truck and with the hockeys just applied.

I didn't like the hood and trunk stripes so this is it! More to come when cleaned up and in my driveway!

Got the car on June 1 and was finally able to wash it and Zaino it today. Been raining like crazy since, and was out of town the only other nice weekend of this month. Here it is.

Took delivery of my Black on Black 2LT, RS, 6speed manual on June 15 from Dan Vaden Chevrolet, Brunswick, Ga.

Got a little over 400 miles on her now and It is everything I expected and more, even though I have had the sometime nervous episodes of other drivers doing stupid things in order to take a close look at my car out on the open road.

On a stationary note, I have have had probably 50 folks come up and talk to me about the car, no negative comments at all and some just giving me an animated THUMBS UP !!

Even one guy driving a Ford F-150...guess he knows a good ride when he sees one !!

Got mine #13865 on the 17th would'nt you figure first rain in three months but when my car gets here, BAM three storms in three days.
Sorry about these pics (camera sucks) but I did dust off the 'ol' 69 to meet its new garage mate. Hopefuly my 21's will be in soon, I think the will look way too cool. Also looking into a trip to leginfelter to make her a real cobra eater.

PIcked it up June 26. 2SS IOM L99 Put 200 miles on it in 2 days. Great car. Blows my 98 camaro ss away. Car rides excellent.

Took delivery on June 16 at Grahams Automall in Mansfield, Ohio. Excellent dealer.
We are having a great time with this car. What speed and style! The road audience is enthusiastic and appreciative.
Are awaiting black stripes. But we are still having fun. Took 2 months from order date.
We live in northern Ohio and have seen only 2 other 2010s on the road.
