I am a bit OCD and try to make sure I ask as many questions as possible before making a decision like this. Sorry.

Anyway, does anyone think if the car doesn't sell there will be an even bigger incentive next month? Do dealers ever put tags above 20% off?

Not likely. Don't do it, get out on your own & pay your own way before taking on more debt.

Don't buy the car. You have no idea what you're doing.

Listen, I'm close to the same age as you, close to the same situation as you. My father has been a new car sales and lease consultant for over 20 years. You know what he tells me. "There always will be more cars." And he's right. There is no point to rush. I can easily afford a new camaro if I wanted too. But my credit is not the greatest so I've been holding off until I can fix things to make the terms of the loan in my favor. 84 months is probably the worst idea on the planet and shouldn't even be legal. And trust me after 3 years you won't be as (in love) with the car as day 1. It's just human nature...plus 20% has been going on since I can Almost rememeber. It will be there next year too. And the year after... really 20% off is just Employee price with incentives. If you get employee you usually can get a price close to 20% off any time of the year...

Bad Idea no car is worth 7 years worth of payments. If you falter the bad credit rating will follow you for the best years of your life. remember that's 84 payments of 500-600 a month, What if you job go's away laid off. what if you want to do some traveling. Get Married or have children. That payment has to come first. No

My payment would be $400-$420 a month.

You're doing the right thing, research! The bottom-line is it's your decision. Don't let ANYONE make up your mind. If you plan on keeping your new Camaro for an extended amount of time and you need your payments low go for it. Chevrolet and others offer extended warranties. Sit down with your bank or credit union. Speak with an expert!

If u pay it off in 3.5 yrs, work hard to move up in income in the next 3 yrs, start paying rent, save 3-5 grand emergency fund, and u move out within a couple yrs to an appt. - go ahead.

This can help establish credit which will help in future housing (apartment or home loans) and with employment screening.

You want to enjoy the impractical cars now bc many young people find that once they can comfortably afford this kind of purchase they may find themselves unable to indulge --i.e. You wake up and you're age 28, saving for a ring, wedding/honeymoon, house down payment, furniture, minivans and babies. Believe me- it sneaks up on you really fast.

Enjoy life- time is never guaranteed.

It's a balance between living for now and saving for tomorrow because at your age u can put away 4-600 a month and retire a multimillionaire by 60 yrs old.

If u do get it, plz be responsible and rep ur age group well

What trim are looking to buy?

84 months is the absolute worse thing you can do op next to a 60 month lease on a fiat or suicide. You will be buried in it forever regardless of interest rate unless it's .99 or something. This is just my .02, I paid for mine in full because I hate car notes, as I did my 2016 4x4 platinum Tundra.

Jesus. A $400 payment on an 84 month loan. You'll be thinking of getting rid of the car before you even have equity.

Ok, you obviously don't know what you're doing. Here's what you need to do before even thinking about this car:

You need to be in the purple area before thinking about buying a car.
