Just passed 1 month with my 1SS/RS....
I really haven't had a chance to take her out and enjoy her other than my 26 mile boring round trip to work and back. The longest trip I took her on was to my cousins shop 40 miles away to put my Outlaw axle back on.
The gas mileage isn't much less than the Saturn Sky that I traded for her. Looking forward to warmer weather and a nice trip to a yet unknown destination to stretch her out and find some curvy roads to see what she is capable of. I see a trip to the Blue Ridge Parkway here in N.C in the spring to get a real feel of what she has in store for me. So, SS guys... Where do you enjoy driving your SS the most? |

Sounds fun. We had a mini Camaro fest here 2 years ago. I took moms 67 vert . I was 1 of a few 1st gens there. She took my 49 Chevy truck to another show the same day...
Bowling Green sounds great.. But I'm looking for something closer by. I do car shows and cruise ins almost every weekend during the warm months here. I can't wait for a spring/ summer road trip to really bond with my new ride. |
