I don't know if History is going to repete itself, I got my 45th. In June of 2012 and within a couple of months the 2013's were on the lot. I was pissed because I wanted a Nav kit but the dealership said that they had no idea when the 2013's would be in. At the end of the day I got a great deal on the 45th. Annv. Model and I don't even think about the Nav kit but I lost respect for that dealership and won't do business with them ever again.

Anyway, by my way of thinking options are everything, if you can somehow wait it out so you can drive both the 2013 and the 2014, you'll have the hands on experience that is needed when you're going to drop thousands of dollars down on a new car. No one knows how the new car will perform until it gets into the hands of the consumer. I saw a thread that said they are going to be inking out over 350 hp on the 2014 V6. That alone for me would be worth the wait if you're going that route... Good Luck!

As far as I know (which isn't much ) there's no engine changes for 2014, so I don't know what they would have done to squeeze an additional 20+ hp out for the 2014 v6... Have a link to where you saw that?

Yep. It was an April Fools joke. There is much misinformation in that link.

Ok... well, are the rumors of the V6 getting twin turbos for the Cadillac CTS real? That's still in the GM family, maybe it will make it to the 2014 Camaro's later on in the model year.

Ugh, I'm off topic, but it would be nice to get a few more ponies out of the V6 while cutting down some of the weight. Cheers!

While no one truly knows for sure (and if they did, they won't be talking ), I do remember when the 5th gen was coming out that we were watching the CTS for hints at what the 5th gen might have. That said - it's truly a guessing game at this point. Just because they put it in the CTS doesn't mean we'll see it in the Camaro.

Personally, I'm waiting for the 2014s. I like the color HUD and control center upgrades, as well as some of the exterior tweaks. Hood intake in the SS is nice, too.

True. Those who WORSHIP their cars always think the new model sucks. I like them, and if I can get a descent price, will trade my 2010 in on one.

Iordered a '14 camaro 2SS/RS convertible early July. Initial build date was July 22 and now my dealer says production date is Aug 12th. I love the new front end. Can anyone give me a prediction of when I will get my car? The wait is killing me. I live near Pittsburgh. 4 kids later and at age 53 I finally am getting my dream car.
