The damage at best is a rim, tire, alignment probably suspension, front bumper, and a front end respray. No thank you

There's a 2011 2SS/RS with 15k miles on a dealer lot right now in Chantilly, VA for 28.5

Not too far from WV....

An informal wreck would only add to the confusion....At least there's a good record of it's past...lol....

A tow could be just from the rim being bent to hell when some idiot got on it with traction control on and then hitting a mail box which scared the crap out of him.........Thus leading to it having to be repaired and body worked, and should mean its at least two thousand dollars less in price in its resale value compared to another exact duplicate un-wrecked car. Or it could be a lot worse what happened to the car. The repairs made should be a indicator, and as we know these are wide cars, and I did curb my rims slightly on my last 2011 Camaro so judging the width until you get used to the car was probably the cause.....Thus hopefully the damage limited. And I would want to know who repaired it and what as it is part of the cars history and should have the info included in the sale, or no way unless I could tell it was very minor and was thoroughly checked out by a competent un biased shop with a laser etc etc.............. It really is a judgement call by the person buying it.

Thumbs down

Nope. Something doesn't add up with so few miles, significant damage and a high price.

In the photo's it looks pristine, has only 1732 miles on it and it is a 2010.

would you consider it?
Nope!!

To put this in perspective, I can get a wrecked Nissan GT-R (a $100K car for those that dont know) for $37K.

Has front damage and airbags deployed.

Nope. Especially not at that price. Before I bought my SS, I was looking at another one that was $25k. I found out it had been in a wreck and that talked me out of it. To each, their own, but I would definitely pass on that one for that price especially.

I wouldn't. It's bad enough buying this type of car used. You know that the former owner probably beat the hell out of it.

think I know the one your talking about, pretty nice and worth the price but the dealership is known for low balling trade in vehicles. plus I don't think I am ready just yet to trade. Really want black with black interior and I will have more cash to play with after the first of the year, think I will wait!

No, unless it were cheap and I was going to either flip it or use it as a project. For a personal use car IMO the asking price is too much to accept a compromised (wrecked and fixed) vehicle.
