Can I get 30-35k for my 2013 BRM 1SS?

Like the title says, can I get 30-35k for my car? It's a 2013 1SS - Blue ray metallic with 30k miles. I'm deploying in a week and would like to come back and buy a 2016 CTSV or 2017 ZL1.

My mods are in my signature, nothing has ever been a problem on my car. No noteable damage, it was a daily driver when I wasn't deployed though, it's seen rain, lots of racing if I'm being honest. But literally nothing has ever given me a problem. It would come with fairly new 17" slicks on 17x9.5 Racestars. If you guys need any other information for your guess, let me know I'm just writing this on lunch very quickly. Car is currently sitting in Virginia for 10 months though as I go to Iraq soon. I'm stationed in Kansas.

I'm not sure you would be able to get that much. Maybe if you demod and sell all your mods separately in addition to the car, but the thing about modding a car is that to sell it, you have to find someone who wants the exact same stuff as you, which isn't very common. You never know though.

On a separate note, I just picked up a 2017 CTS-V and let me tell you, it is a beast! Sounds good (could be louder but tone is great), it's fast, it looks good, and I can win races with a week or two worth of groceries in the trunk!

Modded cars are less likely to get much. Several high hp modded cars are going for high 20's. I'd be lucky to get 30k for mine with all the mods I've done, thus why I'll keep it...

RETAIL, low mi '13 auto 1ss are on the market @ 25k atm. Adding 50% of your mod costs back and your struggling at 30k. For comparable, there's a '15 1LE with blower around 600-650rwhp for 33k in the for sale section. New '16/'17s 2SS auto/npp/sunroof are $33-36k atm.

GLWS Op. 30-35k is a lofty goal for a 2013 1ss with 30k on the clock. Down the road from me is a 2014 1SS with 1700miles on it and they are having trouble getting $26k

I have contemplated selling mine after it is done. It is a 2010 2SS/RS with only 18k miles and will make over 1000whp and EVERYTHING has been upgraded to support it (Dart block, AGP twins, 9", RPM trans, street slayer triple, E85 fuel system, etc, RPM roll bar, Has Welds on it.. All aftermarket parts have less than 500 miles on them at this time) and I'd only ask a firm $30K.

As stated, ask $30k. You can always go down but can't go up. Have you used one of those calculators online to see what the private party value is? Another issue is, depending on the location of a buyer, winter weather is coming to some areas.

Thanks for all the replies everyone. I do appreciate your input! As stated, I would be selling after my deployment. I'll be back sometime June/July 2017. The car only makes 500whp as an A6, that's N/A with a 4K converter and 3.91 gears, it's a 10 second car, but some people like to buy for numbers haha. I have heard a lot of similar input as far as resale value of our 5th gens with mods.

Since I might not be able to get as much from my sale, sadly I might buy a 2016 Hellcat Charger instead haha I do love the CTSV interior though, it's insane! Congrats on your purchase, I have a nice daily but the camaro is becoming less practical and honestly I kind of want to restart on another build and I'd like to start off on a higher platform!

This right here.

OP easily dropped over 5k in mods but wont see much of that back.

There's modded 1LE's on the market right now for low 30's and ZL'1 for high 30's.

So... mid 20's is what it's gonna go for, maybe high-ish 20's.

My car is faster than a stock ZL1 by far and my suspension handles better than a 1LE with the BMR upgrades I've got. But that's modded, of course I won't get quite as much as I've put in. I've put over 10k into my car, including 1LE/ZL1 wheels to daily, racestars and Hoosiers for the track, tint, oracle halos, weather tech mats, plasma LED fogs ect.. All in all I'll take people's advice, I'll honestly try to list it for 35k and see what happens. Worst case scenario I just drop the price right? I am in no rush. And if I can't get 30k I'll just keep it

Well when you sell it let me know, I'll buy it lmao. Also, I'm stationed at Ft. Riley, were close to each other! I haven't checked private party value, I'm probably at $12-13k into my car not including the wheels/tires/aesthetic things haha. Oh well, I was just curious what people thought, doesn't hurt to try!

not gonna happen unfortunately. I just sold my highly modded 2012 with 16k miles and settled for $25k.

Glws and thank you for your service.

Unfortunately there is really nothing we can do with these cars to keep or increase the value. You buy a car new knowing you'll take a loss with depreciation and mod a car for your own personal satisfaction as they rarely add more than minimal gains to your resale.
