Cabin filter ?

I’m not sure where to put this, I didn’t even know we had a cabin filter on these cars. I found out it’s under the cowl which is a pain but has anyone ever changed it or how often are we supposed to ?

Takes literally 5 minutes to do. I think there may even be a diy thread on here

changing it is easy, i think its three push pins that hold the cowl in place. then after that there is a cover that pops off by hand, and then pull the filter out.

i replaced mine with a k&n reuseable filter. its been about a year and so far so good

Does take 5 minutes. And here is from the manual on when to change it. Looks like between certain miles. I change mine every spring though as I don't drive mine in winter and I don't put that many miles on it.
