ZL1 wheels are made in USA. You can find pics of the printing on the rim here... and I know this from my friend that works there. .
As previously stated, each Manufacturers Wheels are Stamped OEM with each Manufacturers Company Insignia or Designation, as this is fact, not fiction, as they are being made in China at 1/2 the cost as to what it would cost each manufacturer to have them made here in the US.

It is called Cost Effectiveness and no doubt it will probably always be this way! Allot of research has gone into this subject, by not only me, but several others out here! Just because it is made in China does not mean it is bad, as I have personally seen some $1,000 a piece or more wheels out here, but these companies have been making them here in this country for Decades, but these days they get them made cheaper in China! So go figure, as that is the way it is!

Ya cost effectiveness... we know. You should also know that along with the mfr logo, it will also have the country of origin, the size/offset, date codes for traceability....

I know stuff is cheaper from china. Not disputing that. I am interested in your research though. You a former gm'er(or wheel mfr)?Have you been to a wheel plant recently? How how you can buy a mold for? Stuff like that?

looks awesome!!! I love chrome or polished wheels.... Black wheels just don't do it for me. Seems like it hides the design of the wheel to much. JMO!

Fish-man: Evidently you must think that I am Affiliated with GM, right? I will take the 5th on that one. Having Engineering Skills, Yes I Do, Where I obtain my information is Confidential , however it is true! Am I in the Wheel Business NO! However, I am highly Educated on Metals, Fabricating and Manufacturing , as Yes I am in Business and have been for the past 15 years now in the capacity that I am! Other than that, Yes, I will post what is Fact, No Fiction!

Fish-man, sorry to hear you are No Longer in the Wheel Business, as it is very competitive out there and unless your company is Big enough to withstand the Competition, I can see as to why so many of these Small Businesses are Closing their doors everyday!

However, I disagree with your misinterpretation on my Education , as I previously stated that I am Highly Educated, NOT to have some knowledge as some others Do! Hope I make myself perfectly clear, as I am here to share helpful and valuable information to others, not to be misunderstood by someone else that can misinterpret others Informative Post are purely Facts! I sincerely hope you can comprehend that!

Thanks for the compliments .. It doesn't bother me if people think there fake-cheap-or even if they don't like chrome. I just love the style and the site I bought them from called them " Replica's " . I'm more than Happy with them so far !

Keep posting.. Gives me more to read .

First you buy what you want,Second what your wallet can pay for. I do like crome wheels. No insults to you or the car. I think with the theme of your camaro being yellow with the black stripes, black splitter, black grill, & ghosted side markers I would go with Matt black. Seeif you can find the thread where they have people that can photoshop rims on your car for you. Good Luck

For the price point he was working with, I think they look great... Not everyone has $4-5k to throw at shoes.
