Mylink Bluetooth
When I am playing songs from my iphone over bluetooth it pulls up some very random photographs for album covers to display (this doesn't occur if I plug the phone in through USB). Is there a way to disable the album covers when using bluetooth or for them to use the correct ones?

I think the direct connection(cable usb) overrides the generic album art stored in mylink. So you will see the correct album art because that is what is been sent to the mylink... Maybe!
Dont think there is a way to disable this. |

Check this out
http://www.chevrolet.com/2014-mylink-radio.html# May be of some use. Also, when digging into the settings of the Mylink unit (from the mylink unit, not the DIC) there is a selection to enable or disable album art from showing up, I believe.

I have the same thing happen when playing music through Bluetooth on an Android. Sometimes the album covers that appear on the MyLink Screen are different than the ones that appear on the phone.
I could never figure out how or why that happens, but it never really bothered me either way. It's just kind of a mystery. |
