You don't need a PS Now capable tv to play games through PSTV.

You only need it if you plan on having a PS Now account but do not want to play through the console.

As long as the PSTV console has internet connection, you can log on and stream any game that is available on PS Now to any tv you desire as long as the tv as an HDMI connection.

As for your friend, if the PS Now account works like the other accounts, two people can not be logged on at the same time in two separate locations onto the same account. He could log on and play on your account but only if you are not online. Also please note doing this is against the user agreement and if Sony finds out (which they eventually will), they will terminate your accounts.

Does the ps now work the same as ps+. Meaning if one account has it the other can use it on the same console in this case being the pstv

Right now this is unknown. It has not yet been announced if PS+ and PS Now will be the same account or if they will be two separate accounts with separate payments.

No I meant that how ps+ works is if one account has it another account on the console can use the online multiplayer on the ps4. So was wondering if the ps now was the same way on the consoles

Right now anything dealing with PS Now accounts is unknown. They have yet to give any info on how the accounts will work, if you will need one per console, one per person, etc.

I played the beta on Ps3 today and it was pretty awesome and looks like customizing your character will be a big part of this game. So I am glad I did preorder the Destiny Ps4 bundle
