California Traffic Fines up in 2010
Thought some of you might be interested in this...

its been awhile since I got a ticket, but if I recall this is just the base fine. Then they add all kinds of stuff to it and it almost doubles. I think anyway.
I did get pulled over last week for drving a bit fast, but he let me off since my record was good, plus I don't think he actually got it on radar and didn't see much of me, since I went around a bend in the road. |

Running a Red light is $500 including fine, court and traffic school cost.
No not me, a friend ran one about two months ago.......really.  He got pictures and a movie out of the deal.......redlight cameras.

I wish the fine for running a red was higher. In LA, so many people think they're grandfathered under the turning light. It's sad when 3-4 cars make a left turn after the light is clearly red.
