breaker bar
Just wondering, is a 12" breaker bar going to be enough to help me loosen the bolts that attach the cats to the exhaust manifold? I have about 18" worth of extensions to get down to the bolt in the engine bay, but those suckers seem to be on super tight. Just trying to figure out if I should get a 12" breaker or an 18"?

I was able to loosen them using a 6" bar, just let it soak on WD-40 for a few hours.

Also, do you remember what extensions you used? I have the wobble kind. They seem to reach far enough, and angle enough to give me clearance. I also have a swivel which angles a lot more than the wobble. Wasn't sure which would work better...

I think i used the regular kind, but the wobble ones should work fine.
Also i recommend that you do this when the metal is warm.
