So i finally decided to go into the dealership today to see if they how they were so i can find a dealer to buy from. I spoke with the fleet sales manager and was really surprised. He told me that they will have some on their lot by the end of next month. They are holding a special viewing party for everyone. With a barbaque and all.

How many dealers will be doing this?

I know when the Infiniti g37 came out the dealer here had a big viewing party with a cook out and everything. I think it is pretty cool and gets more people in to see the car.

Jerry at Champion on hwy 6 said they are going to have a huge Camaro caravan with 50 or so Camaros from the dealers in town with police escort, ending up at the horse track for a shindig with both old and new Camaros. He did not know all of the details, but should be around May 7th or so. He was talking to a GM rep about it and sounded pretty cool.

That's the unvieling party you're referring to. I believe most, if not all, dealers are having an one on May 6th.

Hmmm....maybe thats the event I volunteered to be apart of. Haven't gotten anymore details yet though.

Yes the unvieling party. I think its a pretty cool deal. Im all about free food

The dealer I went to yesterday said May 5 or 6 that they will have the party. So maybe that is when all the dealers will be getting theirs. Alot of you guys are quoting dates in that time frame or close to it so We will see. I can wait

I talked to my dealer and they are doing no such thing. :( But they said they may do a Camaro car show/BBQ thing later in the year when they have a couple different models on the lot.
