We had a great gathering today at Toot's in Smyrna with a total of 14 Camaros in attendance (though not all at the same time as some had to leave before others arrived) plus 2 club mambers who did not get their precious babys out in the cold . We had some good food & time to chat about upcoming events & have a few laughs. Then after standing around in the cold as long as we could stand it looking at each other's rides & talking about them, some of us (8) cruised to Percy Priest dam. Then, more time to chat before parting ways. I can't wait until next month! Here are some pics.

What: Breakfast at Cracker Barrel
When: Sat, Mar. 10 - 8:30 AM for breakfast, or before 10:00 AM if not eating

After breakfast, we plan to leave Cracker Barrel at 10:00 AM, cruising together to the TN State Fairgrounds so we can park as a group.

What: Hunter's Custom Automotive show
When: Sat, Mar. 10 - 10:00 AM
Where: caravan departing from Cracker Barrel, 4323 Sidco Drive - arriving at TN State Fairgrounds Expo Center
Cost: $10/adult, kids 12 and under admitted free

We pushed the start times back a bit for breakfast and cruising to Hunter's (above). Hopefully this will help folks traveling have a bit of extra time for sleep, travel, coffee, etc.

We like to see happy Camaro enthusiasts ... much better than grouchy ones ... or absent ones ...

April 28th.Gates open @ 12:00 for time trials $25.00 for 1 car & 2 people. Races not over until after 11:00 P.M. Carshow judging to be done before racetime. There will be trophys for carshow, & dragrace. Beauty will be there for the dragracing only as I will be the judge of the carshow. Anyone who knows me also knows that attention to detail is what it will take to win this carshow.

This is a 5TH Generation Camaro dragrace & Carshow only.

I've actually met Travis! He gave us an awesome tour of the Flatts Fest stage and everything when they came to NM in September!!! He already knows that I am down to jam and look forward to playing out there!

Definitely can't wait!!! I have lots of planning for the camaro to do while I'm spending the next 15 months overseas... Then heading out with the family as soon as we can get everything packed and loose ends all squared away!!

I just wanted to let you know about a car show in Springfield incase any of you are interested. Some of you will recall the YMCA car show a group of us attended before last year's Camaro Fest drag race & car show. Well, the organizer of that show has changed jobs & the car show changed along with him. He now works for the Springfield Senior Citizen's Center and the new car show is called "On the Square Hotrod Reunion & car show". It will be held on hte courthouse square in Springfield on May 12th. There will be classes based on model years and 1st & 2nd place awards in each class, director's choice, people's choice & best of show trophys. There will be dash plaques for the 1st 50 to register, 50's & 60's music old fashioned slaw burgers & chicago style hot dogs and a variety of vendors. I think this will be a good venue with the beautiful historic buildings of Springfield as backdrops of great pics. So ya'll come!
