Largest exhaust tips 12LFX?
Basically what the title says, looking into getting an exhaust system installed today when the sun comes up, was wondering what is the largest tip that would fit without any melting to the diffuser or cause any malfunctions etc? I have seen on a few camaros the 5 inch tip through flowmaster, but i have only seen it on the V8's, are the holes of the diffusers the same size on the v8 and v6s?
Thanks in advance! |

It's quite an increase from stock with about 1/4" to spare. |

Actually the ARK N-II cat-back has the largest all together piping of any system on the market.

That does look awesome man, I was either going to go with a 4.5" tip or a 5" tip, but im trying to get a definite answer on fitment of the V6 diffuser.. I see you have the V8 and they are the only camaro's i've seen with tips larger then 4" ... Looking to get a definite answer; Do I need to upgrade to the V8 rear diffuser to fit tips larger then 4" ?
Thanks |

You have a V8 also, correct? I'm wanting to go with 4.5" tips, but I don't know if there will be fitment issues with the V6 diffuser... I have a 12 LT M6 and, the main thing i'm trying to figure out at this point is what are the absolutely largest tips you can fit in the V6 diffuser holes without any issues.

the 5 inch tips are very close to the diffuser. theyve been on my car for more than 2 years now and no melting........and trust me they get hot. just ask the burn marks on my calf from walking into them lol
