Generation 5 Camaro's are no longer special.

I will probably catch a lot of crap but my opinion is the Gen5 Camaro's are nothing special any more. The reason is because there are so many on the roads now. We have a couple of local car shows we go to but I don't park my Camaro in the show area, I just park it in the parking lot.

I do get a lot of attention just about every where I go with my Camaro, I know a lot of you get a lot of attention also. This kind of attention is more my style than putting my car in a car show any more.

I am not insulting anyone that owns a Gen5 Camaro, I still think they are an awesome car. What I do find special is that I have never seen two alike with mods. Everyone seems to have their own one of a kind car. If anyone has a Camaro like mine I would love to see a picture of it. I only posted a picture of my SS was because I am curious if anyone else
has modded their car similar to mine. I didn't post the pic for comments about my car. It's MY car and I did the car like I wanted.
If you don't like my car like the guys below, please don't be an a-hole and tell me that.

According to member ELIC1: maybe if you had a better looking ride you would more attention. just saying

According to member SIN R G: And just because you turned your Camaro into a Blah Ho Hum car does not mean the rest of us did the same!

I think the 5th gen is special. To me the new 6th gen, while measurably a better car is just not as... Well something. I don't know what it is, but this car had "presence" few cars match.

If you want to make the word "Camaro" plural, just put an s at the end: Camaros.

The word "Camaro's" indicates possession: The Camaro's roof, the Camaro's horn, the Camaro's wheel. You don't use an 'apostrophe s' because of the final vowel, either. An 'apostrophe s' never makes a noun plural. Never, ever.

Yes yes, I'm a bad man for telling you this. Heaven forbid I give somebody a help.

They've been around since 2009... V6 models are very affordable. What do you expect..? Not understanding why silly threads like this come up rather often on this forum.

Same here. I had a guy beep his horn while we were at a traffic light. I roll down my window and he asks, "What color is that?" I reply, "Red Jewel Tintcoat." And he says, "Beautiful color!" I say thanks and drive away.

I see Gen 5's around, many different colors and years but I still enjoy seeing them.

OP clearly states his car gets plenty of attention. Second paragraph:

"I do get a lot of attention just about every where I go with my Camaro, I know a lot of you get a lot of attention also"

No problem, OP. I don't feel "insulated".

Unless you own a ZL1 or Z/28, a 5th gen is pretty much old news at meets.

I know I see alot of V6 around, but not too many V8. My Camaro when comes rumbling down the road turns all types of heads and that to include those V6 owner's.

It's not the attention that makes the car special it's how the car makes the owner feel that makes it special.
