no it is not the GM cover, I bought it new from camaro5 vendor for $289 fitment is very good and snug. I was told it is better than the GM one.

Do you have an pics of the cover?? maybe a sample pic from the vendor you bought it from, also, what is "tire dressing marks".

Tire dressing means some of the tire shine after cleaning the car and putting the cover on it rubbed off the tires onto the cover as you can see the cover covers the tires too.

I have a convert and it a little shark fin on the trunk... Does this cover have a pocket for it as it does for the mirrors? I'm not sure if that's important or not but on these more tight fitting covers to account for that little fin.

and did this come with a carry bag for storage when not in use?

Otherwise, I am interested

It has a fin pocket on top for the coupe not for the convertible location on the trunk.
