First Car Show, First Win
So I entered my car in its first car show this past week. The car show had about 40 cars ranging from antiques to new cars(mine). I entered the 2000 and newer class. The competition was a Dodge Charger with about 7 trophies, a Nissan 370Z with about 5 trophies, a 2010 Camaro SS, a Ford Mustang GT, a Ford Mustang GT 500, a Chevy Corvette ZR1(w/around $20k under the hood) and a Pontiac Grand Am(with about $50k of work done). Needless to say I wasn't expecting to even place but to my surprise I took first place.

I painted my Strut Brace and heat extractor pan and changed out badges and emblems. That was about it. One guy said I should be really good once I get some actual mods on it.

Looks good! Taking off that engine cover really makes these engine bays look sharp. Letting that LS3 intake be seen is a must. Not sure why GM decided to "dress" it up with that big cover.

It was probably the same over paid brainstormer that came up with the awesome and ingenious idea of wrapping the hood instead of just painting it flat black.
