"All show no go" or "All go no show"?

I was just wondering how the majority of Camaro owners felt about this topic. I have heard many different points of view from my personal friends that own Camaros. It’s pretty much split down the middle between the ones who say “show” and the ones who say “go”. So I figured I’d ask Camaro5 about it.

If you could only pick ONE. Would you prefer to be "All show no go" or "All go no show"…… OBVIOUSLY the preferred answer would be BOTH, but I’m asking if you could choose ONE which would you pick and WHY?!

If you answer BOTH to this I’m going to assume you’re illiterate

Me personally, My car has some show and a whole lot of GO!! (800+rwhp worth of GO). BUT, if I had to choose one it would be "All go no show". Just because I would rather have a sports car that goes fast, than a sports car that just looks pretty. That’s just IMO!

EDIT:
Just to clarify about how I define “show” and I’m sure some people view this differently. When I think of “show” I think about spoilers, wheels, hoods, trim, interior lighting, exterior lighting, lowering, etc…….. That does NOT help performance.

So when I say “show” I’m talking about, large rims, under glow, big spoiler, lambo doors etc….. Things that look cool, but don’t add any UMPHHH to the car.

Now that's a dilemma. What is considered as show? Because a couple show mods could also be considered go, wheels for instance.

Nitpicking aside, I choose go.

Both! Haha I had to.

But I guess I would choose "Go" since I think the car looks pretty good in its stock form. That, and a lot of the go fast stuff ends up lookin cool. I'm a big fan of form following function.

All show for me , hence V6. These cars still look a million dollars cruising around town at 30mph. I have 7 speeding tickets to my name, so have kind of been fined excessivly out of the speeding thing.

Yea depends on your definition of show like I have a lip kit, painted black wheels, blacked out tail lights, and the engine cover painted that's about it for show the rest is performance. I like to have subtle things done to my car enough that its different yet not to much that it looks cheap and stands out finding that happy medium is always hard. In the future I plan to get light weight 3 piece wheels with color match lip and getting rid of the engine cover an-8 fuel lines and fuel rails won't fit under it.

IMO, if the car is going to look the part, it's gotta have the performance to back it up. So ideally, I'd want show & go. If I had to pick just one, I'd say it'd be the GO

The nice thing with the SS is, you don't have to choose. You get show and go. It's a win-win.

I would say GO, when using proper go parts, they will also be in the category of SHOW.

Well since it already had a little bit of "go" from the factory, I would do just cosmetic mods IF I had to choose. Glad that isn't the case.
