Thumbs up Lashway Motorsport's NEW SHOP - Progress Pics Inside!

With a staff offering over 35 years combined experience in LSx Performance alone, it's no wonder why we've become one of South Florida's elite shops in short time.

We've been featured in several magazines, recognized by our peers for excellence in our field and are more than pleased to announce the opening of our new, state-of-the-art facility in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

We've compiled several photographs of the build out since we began the process on August 1st. Since then, we've invested well over $150,000 into our facility - from the customer waiting area, to the private meeting rooms and offices to the shop floors and new equipment. We're confident that these investments will not only provide years of prosperous return but more importantly allow us to BETTER SERVE OUR CURRENT AND FUTURE CLIENTELE.

We encourage ANYONE to come by and visit us. We officially reopen October 1st, but are there now getting settled in.

Please call, make sure we're here. (954) 971-4383

Please enjoy the photos as they are added.

Dad and the gang starting initial demolition. It's a dirty job, but someone has to do it. We tackled this, and several other tasks ourselves to cut our moving and build out expenses.

We decided to purchase 3 new 10,000 lb Challenger Versymetric 2 post lifts. Uniformity, efficiency, and organization all played a major role in which equipment we invested in. These lifts lift any vehicle with ease, even lowered vehicles. Also notice the space between work areas. We made sure each vehicle was safe, and at least 10 feet away from any other vehicle at any moment.

We also had custom aluminum tables and carts specially made for us by the Deubel Company in Vero Beach, Florida. Check out the initials

And you bet your ass we installed these lifts ourselves. That was a $1200 saving we allocated elsewhere.

While we we're busy at work in the shop, we also had our friends and customers help with the office and lounge build out. We have many many clients who are professional contractors, tradesmen, and artists. We made sure to hire them to help with the technical portions of the construction and made sure to put money back into their pockets, and back into the local economy!

We replaced the 28 year old VCT tiles with 12"x24" grey tiles on a brick joint pattern. We also added a shower in our employee bathroom as well as new fixtures, toilets, sinks and just about everything else you could replace. Cleanliness, and comfort for our customers AND employees is paramount. It is evident in these photos. No expense was spared when it came to materials and design. We even replaced all the sheetrock with modern, lightweight boards and NEW more efficient insulation.

RPS Electric (once again) provided the custom electrical work and build out. They are the BEST.

FLOORS FLOORS FLOORS. All my life, I have dreamed of having the shiniest floors one could imagine. We're fortunate enough to be in the position to be able to afford such beautiful floors, so we did. It's by far our most favorite part of the entire facility. And yes, you can eat off of them - though I would send you to our kitchen for that!

below are pictures of the process. Grinding, cleaning, prep, and coating. 3 layers of epoxy and 2 layers of clear urethane. BAM!

I slept on it after it dried!!

The MOVE, and the SET UP.

Here are the most recent photos taken of the move process. It's hard, hot, and time consuming - but SOOO worth it.

Check out the photos of the progression 1 month in. Moving the dyno in, and unpacking.

HVAC, and keeping our work space fresh and cool.

We invested $6000 on 5 very special fans. 4 of these fans are 36" in diameter and are intended to move cool, fresh air throughout the floor space every second we're working. According to our calculations, fresh air will replace any old air in the entire 100,000 cubic feet of shop space every 2 minutes. HOLD ONTO YOUR HATS BOYS!

The 5th, and largest of the 5 is a 54" 'dyno' fan. This fan is intended to be used in the chassis dyno room and will provided enough fresh air to clear the room every few seconds. over 22,000 CFM just from this one fan alone. Most vehicles 1000 HP and less move far less CFM of exhaust than what this fan will move - so no more smell!

If we put this much thought into our ventilation system, think about what we do when we build our customers cars!

Here's the shop as it currently sits. We're 80% moved in and hope to begin tuning next week. We're booked solid through November, but will always speak to anyone interested in our services, and will do our best to fit anyone and everyone in if we can.

Hope to see you soon!
