Dealership over here do sent even retourque lock nuts. I'd assume they do on initial instalation but not on retourque. They said it's way to easy to break the key.

Always did 100 lbs on aluminum wheels and 120 on steel wheels. Haven't failed me in the 5 years at Firestone and 15 years since then.

My 2012 manual says 140 ft lbs for alloy wheels.
I torqued my wheels to 110ft lbs prior to reading the manual and I had a very slight vibration that went away after retorquing all my wheels to 140. I'll stick to 140.

everyone for your replies!
My 2011 Camaro Owner's Manual states that the Wheel Nut Torque should be set to 190 N-m | 140 lb ft: It does not state anything about Blue or Silver Cones. However, the OE lug nuts from my OE wheels do have a Blue tint : The following is the Gorilla lug system I purchased: Based on what my manual states, I decided to let Discount Tire torque them to 140 lb ft...which is what their computer showed as well. I also found the following comments in other threads in this forum regarding this topic to further support this setting: Quote:

I have the same Gorilla system. Discount Tire always torques to 140 and so di I. As each lug is a lock the torque load is spread more evenly around the circumference of the nut, so I believe there is less likelihood of stripping or breaking something. However I wouldn't use an air wrench on them...too much herky jerky.
