Mike,
My vert is scheduled for a build next week. It's a RJT, 2SS/RS, M6. Make sure to give it some love when it's put together. I can't wait to get it. Thanks Ken

Mike,
Thanks to everyone in Oshawa for such an awesome car! You guys built mine on Friday. I have never even approached being as excited about a car as I am about my new Camaro. It's a dream come true that I've had since I was 8 years old and saw an ad for the 1969 Camaro. I always thought that was the best looking car until the 5th Gen was introduced. I feel confident that what you built for me in Oshawa will be everything I've hoped and waited so long for.

Thanks to all at GM (from Design Team to Production to QC) for makiing dreams come true. My first car was a 68 SS/RS Convertible, and I've sworn for over 30 years that I'd have another. For years I've watched the entire industry stagnate with chocked off intakes and exhausts, smog pumps, poor quality, and disinterested designs.
As soon as I saw the 5th Gen concept unveiled, I told my wife that it would be mine. Then when the convertible concept showed up, my quest began! This is a car that backs up everything it claims to be. All the power, all the performance, and still meeting all the over-regulated federal mandates! As Motor Trend announced this month with the coming of the ZL1, the glory days are back! Twice in the last 3 weeks, I've had people call or e-mail, asking me to bring my car to a car show. This car has people rolling down their windows to talk about it at the light. Folks on the side walk smile and wave. A ride to the store feels like I'm in a parade! The only other cars that have stirred me this much have been far out of reach. Thank you all again for bringing it home to America and putting it in my driveway.

I can not thank the GM team enough. When I saw the prototype in 2006 I knew that's the car I wanted. It has exceeded my expectations. It was well worth the wait. I just can't stop staring at it sitting in my garage. Truly a beautiful car. I've been having fun driving it and seeing the OMG looks as I roll by. Thanks again.

Picked-up my vert yesterday (4-04-11) and couldn't be happier. Thank you for such a wonderful car! Everything is great, right down to the orange stitching on the interior. Employees at the dealership were coming out of the woodwork to look and take pictures! Congrats to GM and City Chevrolet (Charlotte, NC) on a job well done.

Your Camaro we bought is causing marriage problems. My wife and I argue all the time about who is going to drive. lol
All kidding aside, we LOVE our new convertible! We almost got a hardtop in '09, but didn't. When we saw the 2011 verts, we had to have one. Keep up the good work!! |

And thanks from us to the Oshawa team!! These cars are absolutely fantastic - gorgeous, solid, and powerful - and the build quality is top notch!!
As I have said before - we kept the faith, and you kept the faith in us that we would be there when you brought the 5th gen to production. |
