As to looks, they're okay. I'd prefer the car without them, but I don't wanna take chances with the paint on our tough Alaskan roads. If I don't like them further on, I'll take them off and get the GFX.

Not sure why GMpartsdirect doesn't have em in white.....not going to pay extra to get them elsewhere...they'll get them eventually. Not sure of the quality difference between the sources though. Anyone know?

I have them on my car. I'm not too crazy about them but they've helped severely on keeping the paint chips on the sides to a minimum.

then again, they probably wouldn't be needed at all if it weren't for the country's tree huggers that push US car makers in to using water based paints.

My questions also. I don't particularly like the looks of them but if needed, so be it. But I do have 1000 miles on it and see no chips as of yet.

It definitely gets dirty behind the wheels, but I haven't notice any other issues.

Got them put on tonight - Took me a little over an hour. The hardest part was getting the clips on the front splash guards to go on the wheel well. Other than that pretty easy. Thanks for the tips - helped out a lot. I haven't seen them in the daylight - will post pics tomorrow.

P.S. Freak'n snowed today!!!

From what I understand you can't have both.

Correct. You gotta choose which ones you want. I went with the splash guards as opposed to GFX to see how they handle the chipping and because our roads up here suck. 1 week of driving and -0- chips.
