Two New Mods ! Love this car !

Added the Barton Short throw today along with some shark gill accents !
I have got to thanks the guys at Barton for coming through and getting me a stick before I got too frustrated with the stock shifter ! (I was spoiled by having the Barton in my Coupe)

Are the shark gills painted or stickers? They look good.

They are satin chrome over plastic, then 3m'ed on. From Yates Performance, they are very similar to what was on my 69 Vert !

Feels great, no slop just crisp, short, click, click, click as you go through the gears ! Can't help but run through the gears all the time ! (There goes the gas mileage) Had this mod on my coupe and was the one I had to have again.

You do the shifter yourself? If so how labor intensive is it, and was there any special tools required?

Actually the fourth Barton shifter I have put in. It is actually pretty easy if you raise the car up. First one I installed was in my garage with no lift and it took about 2.5 hrs. This one was installed in 1hr. No special tools and no special knowledge.
