Cradle bushings on a convertible

Has anyone done upgraded bushings on a vert... I want to order solid ones.. when I look under the car there is a subframe connector that runs diagonally across and bolts to the bushing...I dont know if an after market bushing will interfere or not...
Has anyone ran into this before?

Don't see any reason they shouldn't. Personally, I'd go poly...solid are just to harsh and noisy. You can always call BMR.

Only difference with bushings on a vert is they have no voids in the rubber. I put inserts on my vert and just trimmed the part that would have gone into the voids. There are crossmembers that go over the front bushings, but the bolt to tighten the bushing goes on and then the crossmember, and then a nut. In other words, the bolts for have a little stud coming out of them IIRC. I'll be putting in some poly bushings I have laying around, but that will be a while. If you haven't done them by the end of summer, PM me and I'll tell you how mine went.

Cradle bushings won’t cause any NVH now if you put them in the Diff, trans, or engine mounts be prepared the noise will sound like bad exhaust drone overly annoying.
