I got muffler deletes and I can hear it kick in. It's really nothing... People who complain about it bewilder me.

yep, and on long highway trips, cruising about 70mph, I can only squeeze out 25-26 mpg. I guess that's about average for a 400hp V8 engine.

I did not notice it much with the stock exhaust honestly. If you go with a more radical sounding aftermarket setup you will notice it!

You're still running 4 cats and a resonator on your car. Get long tube headers and high flow cats or race pipe and then report back.

You'll be crusing down the road doing 60mph and your car will sound like a Civic with a bad exhaust everytime you lightly get on and off the gas. A 400+hp Camaro SS should NEVER sound like that.

AFM delete is absolutely necessary for anyone running a full exhaust (LT and Catback) on a Camaro SS.

If the sound of the AFM, with aftermarket exhaust, doesn't bother you,you would love my mother-in-law.

Though I cant hear it while cruising I can hear/feel it kick in. I have no after market exhaust parts yet though. My first buy is high flow cats, I suspect it will be a touch more noticeable with those but likely a non issue. The real trick is the resonator, if you get rid of that, you will hear the 4-banger sounding exhaust.

It sounds awful. I have the Magnaflow 16580 exhaust system, and it sounds great until you hit the "sweet spot" and then it makes me sick. It sucks that I will have to void my powertrain warranty just to delete the AFM, but so be it.

Sure with I had gone with my initial instinct and went with the manualy tranny.

But, ya.......... You ain't getting it on audio recording. It's more of a 'feel AND sound', but you have to be driving to hear and feel it. And I guess I bewilder some too. It isn't a killer, but a reminder that you are driving a nannied down muscle car.
