Nothing scheduled yet, and probably nothing will be until after it cools off a bit (I have heat stress issues, so I pretty much have to take summers off). I'm also just about to pull the trigger on some drivetrain mods being suggested by a gear whine I picked up at my last event, and there's this other big-$ thing I ought to do at the same time if I'm ever going to do it at all.

NJMP's own events, HOD, SCCA's TNiA, and there's one other group for experienced intermediates and up that I haven't run with yet but probably will later this year. It's all on hold for now (summer heat plus that needed drivetrain attention that has expanded in scope far beyond fixing the actual problem). I've also run a couple of times with AutoInterests out at Mid-Ohio (with a group from right here at Camaro5).

That track looks like a nice fun place... Did not realize it was more than a NASCAR oval

Actually, the site was a road course (known as 'Bryar'), long before NASCAR had anything to do with it.

Somewhere I think I still have a program from an SCCA Trans-Am race there. Had to be 1969, and Mark Donohue took the win in a Camaro. I knew a guy who raced an SCCA H-Production Austin-Healey Sprite at Bryar several years before that.

Hey Norm how you doing?

It was a very cold day. At the start of the day is was 28 degrees. No heat stress issues that day. I too suffer from heat issues.

Grattan clockwise, 2013 camaro SS 1LE, manual, 1:25.42 laptime, G2 supercar tires, dry.

Here is video of that weekend hitting almost same laptime. I have full video on go pro somewhere but I lost my self when I hit this 1:25.42 lap, screamed like a girl in the car.

Better than my car, which developed what sounds like axle gear noise following a TNiA event at Lightning. Time for a Torsen and maybe a little more gear.

My best lap times at T'bolt have come on the cooler days. I don't know how much of that has been me being better off in the cooler environment and how much was the tires not running quite as hot.

Sorry to hear about the car. Sound like a tailor made excuse for upgrades!

It seems obvious the difference was you, Why give the credit away?

You have no idea . . .
mwa-ha-ha

Even on cool days, session 2 of 4 usually contains my best lap for that day.
