Fuel pump access hole

How many of you guys done this? Worth it or not worth it? I'm concerned with there being more noise inside the car or having odors inside as well. Any info would help

No additional noise or smells. Car should have had an access from the factory. Can fit a cover over it when you're done of you want to be extra fancy

I would also need to cut one for the fuel level sending unit so it would be 2 holes on there.

Wouldn't another hole have to be cut to pull it out?

No, the entire assembly (bucket and level indicator) will come out of the same hole as one piece.

I always thought the fuel pump was on one side and the sender on the other side?

If you have the ADM twin pump you have two options as far as aftermarket pump options. I just did the same exact swap over to the AGP/FORE triple. ADM uses the CTS-V fuel transfer unit (driverside unit). The crossover tube diameter is 3/4" vs 1/2" on the camaro. So to have the correct crossover fitting on pump side you have to go with a CTS-V hat from Fore. Also the fuel level float mounts differently on CTS-V vs SS, wired differently and produced by a different OEM manufacturer. More complicated than just swapping back to your stock float. Using a CTS-V Fore module was the simplest route to negate these issues without dropping the tank. But like you said you are stuck with an ADM unit missing the other half of the CTS-V unit. Maybe it's worth buying these parts to complete the kit again to sell. Or maybe some CTS-V guys needs a factory replacement.

If you decide to go with a SS Fore hat you will have to drop the tank and switch everything back to stock first including the recalibration used for the fuel level sensor. These was a viable option for me because Lethal Racing did my ADM pump install and I guess tossed my stock parts.

Just good for thought. I chose to cut the hole and think it was a great idea. It will make maintenance in the future a breeze. I used the hatch that Blake-b linked in another thread with some knockoff dynomat on the underside of the lid and frame. It seals up pretty good and I barely even hear the pumps run.

I used air shears (harbor freight specials) to cut the hole which cut like butter. Just be warned the tank is really close to the floor near the drivetrain tunnel. Hit me up if you got questions!
