No not this year and neither is Lamont

Mahomee 27 pass TD's Zero 00000 rush TD's

Lamont threw for only 3600 yds and 24 TD's plus 5 rushing TD's

Even if you add in his rush yards 821 + passing 3678= 4499 total yds

JA17 has 29 passing TD's and 4306 pass yds plus 524 rush yds 4830 total yds

44 Total TD's or about 10-12 over his nearest competition

Did I mention he was the least sacked QB in the NFL?

It's not all about stats.

Someone who compiles a lot of yards in garbage time after their team is blown out will have great stats.

Someone who's team shuts it down early because they are blowing someone out will not have great stats.

I am not pointing to any particular person, only that stats can lie.

No sane GM wouldn't trade their QB for Patrick Mahomes. That includes Buffalo. And... and I am being serious... there are only a small handful of teams that wouldn't trade for CJ Stroud. The Chiefs wouldn't, but everyone else would at least give it a long hard look.

So trotting out a bunch of stats to support Josh Allen is kind of fun, but in the end at best meaningless and at worst misleading.

I also stand by my assertation that this year Stroud has been more valuable than Josh Allen and it isn't even close.

The Bills could have drafted Mahomee they owned pick #10 and traded it to KC and then took Tredavious White at #27

They knew the guy they wanted was in the next years draft 2018 and traded up to get him

Stroud looked like the sure bet for rookie of the year until Puka Nacua rewrote the record book for rookie receivers.

Its great to have debate over this and while I want Josh to win I don't think he will.

Who ever wins MVP and Rookie of the year will be a great player

Trust me when I say that Beane and McD love their QB and wouldn't trade him for anybody .

Just like Ralph Wilson wouldn't let the GM trade away Jim Kelly's rights when he didn't want to come to Buffalo in the mid 80's JA17 is a Bill for life

I will add one thing the Texans won the AFCS in 2018 and 2019

The Titans won in 2020 and 2021

Granted it's only one year, but lets assume what we see from Stroud is real. So...

Hypothetical trade - Josh Allen for CJ Stroud

Allen - We know what we have. Very good QB with huge arm who can put a team on his back. Can also be a turnover machine and inexplicably suck at times.

Stroud - Floor - A very good QB who takes care of the ball exceedingly well. Upside - Become the next Drew Brees.

I know Buffalo loves Josh and he seems like a quality human being, but I'd think about it. A lot.

Oh, and looking on Ticketmaster, looks like there’s still about 40% tickets available at arrowhead. So I don’t think crowd noise will be an issue. Just the -30 temp
