Found the perfect switch/relay for kill switch

Wireless Remote Switch

Found it on Amazon, $20 with next day shipping. The switch/relay is programmable and has several options. On only when the button is pressed, one button on/off, two button on/off and 4 timed options for 5 / 10 / 15 / and 20 seconds, then it turns the relay off.

I'm not going to say how I'm wiring it in, but the unit can be placed anywhere in the car and totally concealed. The hardest part (for me) will be deciding which program to use.

Nice. I should install this in addition on the fuel in addition to the mobilistics on the starter.

I need to get power to my dummy obdii port so that the theif plugs in and sits there fiddling for a while.

Where did you get the dummy one? I got one but it doesn’t fit in the space.

There's a link in the DIY thread for a dummy OBD with the correct profile to click into place under your dash. Only real difference is it has all 16 pins, not just the OEM 8 pins populated.

Went looking in the DYI. Must have missed it. Do you happen to have the link? The one I bought was from the one posted here in general section. It doesn’t fit though. Too small.

Why would you want power to the dummy to have the thief fiddle with your car. I assume that No power they would just give up and leave
Or if you put power to all the connections it would ruin their device

Essentially it would just have power to turn it n their machine so it looks to them it’s correct, but it wouldn’t have the wires connected to talk to ecm. So it would confuse the thief’s more hoping they give up and just leave because they couldn’t figure it out.
