Hi, left field here chiming in. Call melling and tell them you have that pump on your LS camaro. I think you are pushing too much oil to the turbo and not getting it drained fast enough.

Also on the white smoke thing, I took out the wires to my scavenge pump once and within a half mile I had 5 fire trucks and police there to put my car out, it was the most incredible amount of WHITE smoke you have ever seen.

Edit:
Here is the download link and you want to read Part 5 which starts on page 22.

From the parts list, you need a 9/16 Roto Broach and a 3/8 NPT tap (or whatever size tap you want to use that matches the fitting you want to screw in)
Thanks!

I got all the information on where and what to use just not the Drill part to make hole.
This one has just CUTTER,9/16" ROTABROACH. cant find it by itself yet on web

But i found a cheeper kit i will try.

Thanks again!

if the drain for each side does not help with my setup. I might look into a scavenge pump.

is it possible that these fittings are causing your problem?

Well..if the smoke is oil burning from the turbochargers...then fittings that allow oil into the turbos would be involved...

Although I rather suspect not allowing oil into them would cause other problems lol.

i get you. im just mentioning it because i follow the sloppy mechanics page and it seems that all they do these days is turbo LS motors and multiple members have mentioned that the fittings (when too wide) will cause a lot of oil out the turbos waste

Lots of people do restrict their oil feeds as a band aid to inadequate drainage.

It's only really BB turbos that want less oil, and almost all of these have built in restrictors.

Restricting oil supply to any turbo should always be a last resort to any such problems.

TT issue, White smoke

Each turbo now has its own dedicated drain.

But one of them is still leaking oil when under a lot of boost.

It’s leaking From oCenter housing and the turbine housing.

It’s less than six months old so I’m thinking after I had my drain issue Maybe this needs to be taken apart and cleaned?

They seem to be OK that’s the oil going into the turbos, And I was told Kn these you don’t use any restrictors.
But thanks!

TT issue, White smoke

Everything looks ok. Just A mess from The drain issue

Since it’s only 6 months old just going to clean up and reseal it. If it still happens I will get the super duty rebuild kit.

The last picture highlights why AN fittings are such a poor choice for oil drains. For their OD and nut/spanner size, they have a very small hole for fluid to actually pass through.

Some people been complaining about these also. They been drilling out the hole. Might be my issue.

Thanks

Going to remove the 10an flange and these fittings.

And then go back to basic flange that i just made larger to little more than 1/2. And then 5/8 hose right to that :-)

I think the an10 flange and connectors might’ve just been too cheep and small for what I need.

Thanks stevieturbo!
