Saw 2 Camaros on the road today!!!!!!

i have not yet seen one driving on the road, but i have seen atleast 5 in showrooms

I have seen, sat in or driven dealer cars but I have not seen one Camaro on the road here in Ct. I see Mustangs and Challengers every week but no Camaros.

The very first one I saw was less than 2 months ago. I was sitting in right hand lane at a traffic light and heard the SS pull up beside me. It was a guy about 60 years old. A silver SS with black stripes. The first words out of my mouth were WTF....

He knew I was looking at him (obviously) and started to rev it. Light turned he started I drove behind him for awhile and then got up beside him. I went home later and went onto GM site and started looking. Thats when I realized the 2 SS was only a little over 40K i here in canada (for some reason I thought they were over 50K). My desire for a new Cadillac vanished at that point.

Last week of may I was on my way to get my new tattoo drawn. As i was driving by the dealer I get my CTS serviced at I remembered that North York Chevrolet was there. I stopped in and spoke with a salesman named Lucio. He told me they had a black SS that had been picked up that morning. After speaking to him for awhile he made a call and realized the SS was in their garage.

Went down looked at and fell in love. The rest is history. I ordered within days from the dealers allottment. He has been an amazing salesman and has helped all along the way with helping me get my CTS online for someone to take my lease. he is also a member here if your looking for one in toronto area. GM says dealer billing date is June 29th. Fingers crossed it's in my hands by mid july.

I have not seen one on the road yet. Heck yesterday was the first time I have seen the production version in person. I stopped at my dealer to sit in and look at the inside of the V6 dealer car.

I just saw one, away from a dealer, for the first time. I was at Best Buy, and in the little garage where they install radio's was parked an IOM SS. From the rear it doesn't look so large in that color.

I've seen a few at a local Chevy dealer(all LT/RS's), 1 on the back of a trailer, 2 on the road so far(1 SS, 1 LT/RS).

I've seen seven of them now.

I still haven't seen a new mustang yet though, except the one at the dealership. And I saw my 4th ever GT500 last week.

So far, the only one on the road I've seen is mine, and technically, since I am actually IN the car DRIVING IT, I haven't seen one on the road actually driving along...

I finally saw one today! - On I85 just south of Anderson, SC. On the other side of the road and could not tell whether an LT or SS......silver. My wife did not quite understand my excitement. Having traveled from NC to AL on Thursday and returning today.....it was our first on the road sighting.
