Dealer was invoiced on the 11th - car shipped on the 10th with expected delivery on the 24th.

Yes, I asked him to double and triple check the VIN and he said it's right and the VIN calculator confirmed a valid check digit.

You guys think this is too high?

No they have been moving on down the line very fast does not suprise me.

It does to me. Produced 14,715 at the end of May. 10 Days of production since then @ 430 cars per day (conservative) is around 19000.

I don't see how that is possible when we just started seeing 17,000s show up today. Mine was produced last week and is 14625.

Yeah I agree, it sounds really high, but I guess we'll see when it gets to your dealer!

I think I'll call him this morning and check it again. It's quite possible my dealer's customer is an idiot on this one!!

But then again, it passed the check digit calculation.

dealer is full of it..i just got 17285 this morning and my car was produced yesterday

OK, I'm convinced now that's not my VIN but another car they must be getting in. I'm waiting for a call back from the dealer to get it sorted out and will post back when I find out. I did call GM Canada on the 10th and they told me it was built on the 9th. Another Canadian poster had the same experience in early June - built one day, shipped and invoiced the next.

I know what's coming so let me have it between the eyes like a man . . .

And just so you know, yes, he's an idiot but the best kind of idiot. I couldn't ask for a better salesman and dealer.
