Camaro went to the shop today for the RPM TR6060 Level VII install. Shop owner was explaining how meticulous RPM is with their builds. A lot of polished billit parts inside and out. He says this tranny will shift like a knife slicing though hot butter.

A little nervous about pulling the restriction limiter because he thinks the boost could go high as 20 psi but I am hoping it will level out about 18 psi so I can make a few passes at the strip, then the limiter goes back in. Yep, rolling the dice a bit but when it all comes together I think this sucker is gonna scream. Well see

As I am sure you will, keep us posted on the new tranny.

I've accidentally ran my car up to 17-17.3 psi a few times when the temps were pretty cool, but I think you will be fine. Like everything else in life, "high boost in moderation." LOL!

Side note: I am in the process of my big boi fuel system install. AGP/Fore triple pump and 1700X injectors! Gonna keep the meth for cooler IAT's, but hope squeeze a bit more power out of her and hope she holds together.

I started to go with triple pumps but the third pump can be added at any time for ~ $500 as I recall. I have plenty of fuel pressure for my current set up.

And thanks. When I finally make it back to the track and make a "successful" run, I will update for sure. Think I have to break the tranny in for a bit before I begin hammering it. Will get all that figured out when I pick it up.

$500 sounds about right. I decided to got he access panel route on my install so I can easily do maintenance of the fuel system as deemed necessary. Honestly think they should have came stock with these panels. Some manufacturers do.

Shop was talking about getting a track rental together on a Friday for 5-6 customers that just made mods, so if that happens then there probably wont be any video but who knows.

Sorry the shop hasn't contacted you. Honestly, you would probably get a better fit up if you took the car to a local fabricator so he could make the piece a perfect fit for your car.

New Trans in in! Should go on the dyno this afternoon if all goes well. Anticipating ~ 1050 hp with the restrictor removed. Guess we will see

Well for those of you still following this thread, shop is extremely busy because owner/tuner is taking his kids on a 7 day cruise beginning Thursday to you can imagine all of the cars he is trying to get done before he goes out of town.

He thinks my tune/dyno is going to be today, but I told him it didn't matter to me just so long as it gets done before he goes on Vac Thurs!

I will post up the final results when I get them.

Sounds great! I'm looking forward to seeing what she does.

Since I just wrapped up my e85 conversion this weekend I am thinking about upping the boost a tad. I don't drive my car often, but when I do it's not gentle. LOL!

Hopefully all of my careful maintenance over the year goes for something.

Absolutely the maintenance will payoff in the end!

Yes you should be able to up the boost since E-85 burns cool, is much higher octane, and you should not experience any knock.
