well on the way up to the track, there were a few more clouds and the temperature dropped about 15-20 degrees. And as the night grew, it got cooler and cooler. Although the DA was through the roof, it still was a decent day. Here are my times in order as i went.

11.429 @ 125.80 - 1.951 60ft
11.313 @ 125.69 - 1.847 60ft
11.273 @ 126.81 - 1.971 60ft
11.184 @ 125.73 - 1.786 60ft <-- NEW PB
11.441 @ 126.76 - 1.916 60ft


i was launching more aggressively which seemed to do the trick. But i ended up over powering the tires a few times. On my new personal best, my back end actually kicked out pretty hard as i was spinning. So that was my 10 second pass if i didnt spin.

But overall it was fun and a good time. I really enjoyed tonight other then the fact that someone took my wheel lock :-/ so i had to drive home on my race wheels lol

LOL memorialized forever. On the best pass (12.54@111.99 1.93) I left off idle and still spun.

Now I feel like building a 9 second 4th gen for 10 grand (I could ya know).

Ahh time for different tires. Any L99'ers running 1.5-1.6's on Nitto 05R's

Hahaha put that 10k into the 5th gen and drive a 10 second daily driver

Your 18" Nitto 05's seemed to be working well congrats again. Did you find the wheel lock?

I think also the next time I run I'll start logging to check over the shift points. I'm not dissatisfied with the mph but always nice to check over stuff. I spun so bad that the car flew threw the gears.

Nope, still no luck. So I am in the hunt now for new black wheel locks which seem hard to find now. Lol

How many runs are you getting out of your 05's?

I was. I'm not anymore.
The 05R's cut a few 1.6x's for me but were so inconsistent I couldn't stand it. I'd go 1.6x then go 1.8x or 1.9x for the next 5 passes.
Switched to ET Street Radial II's, broke them in, and cut 5 straight low 1.6x's in a row.
They definitely worked better for me.
