My brand of choice for head units is Pioneer. Love Pioneer. Taste differes on those from person to person. Someone will tell you Alpine is better, but it all depends on what specs you are looking for (XM satellite radio, MP3, USB port, etc.) and what your taste is. All are pretty good.
For mids and highs, I'm a fan of Polk Audio but have heard rave reviews about Boston Acoustics. If I had to change all the speakers out, I'd go w/ BA's for sure. For subs, if you like rich deep bass when driving hwy speeds w/ the tops off and windows down, I'd choose nothing other than JL subs and JL amps. Hope this helps. I could talk radios all day. LMK. |

I think i need to fly to walmart today. as for the system for your ss it all depends on how much u want to spend. but by looking at your choices i say thats some nice stuff. personally i would go with the alpine head unit and then boston acoustic or like tag said polks. i had a nice set of jbl's in my old car before it got totalled and they were also a nice speaker. are u looking for just drop ins or a componet system?
