Driving the V6 was a great experience. The only problem I can see is backing up, you're blind as a bat. The car was quiet, comfortable and powerful based on the route I took. It's pouring here and people in the bay are can't drive even when it's sunny, so I wasn't able to really open up.

Driving it with someone who's been reviewing cars for 30+ years (it was his test model), he gave me his review/opinion and let me know the pros/cons of what I wanted to do to my car. After knowning some of this information, it truly put my wants into perspective.

I need to do some rethinking and make sure what I want is truly what I want now.

Overall reaction: I love the car and will own one sometime soon. Only weak point is backing up visibility. The sensors help but it would take a day or two of getting used to.
First, I admire the amount of thought you putting into your decision. Second, like Number 3 said below it doesn't take very long at all to learn the dimensions of the car. Once you get the the back three limo'd out it's even harder for a bit but really... it's an easy adjustment.

Although I do admit to having a fear of parallel parking for a little while, but I have that anyway. Not cuz I can't do it, just this fear that I'm holding people up.

I guess the consolation is that the awesome Camaro styling is what resulted in the big C-pillar.

But glad you enjoyed the ride.

I'd be interested in what you are rethinking and why

Heyyy...I see a new CTS wandered into your garage.

And since you're now at an SUV plant, how about some inside info about C3XX? Or was that canned?

Stay safe!

I know it is a strange feeling to return to the US after being away! Even if it was not for military reasons returning to the US is priceless!

You'll always be from Michigan in my book.

I'm good, the Camaro is a work of mechanical excellence, and yes... she's is sleeping. I do miss her so! It took a good 10 days before the heartbreak starting letting up. Now I'm looking forward to the spring.

Thanks Cyn!

I had a feeling she was sleeping....Our cars always slept this time of year

...not this year, but I am sure the move south is temporary and I can't adjust to it! I'm from Ohio and that is close enough! I spent almost 5 years in MI, so I consider myself a Michigander (I read the freep online )

Here's to an early spring!!!

Hope the namesake is in a good place in Bahrain....we'll hold the fort down while he is gone
Miss them a lot. I had access to a Camaro as my daily transportation for 11 1/2 months. I had to give the last one up last week.:( But I'll get by somehow.......................just not sure how that is yet.
