another note, was surprised at how easy the power cord tucks away along the head liner. was able to hide it pretty well in just a few minutes of tucking the wire. been working pretty well.

I have the BlackVue 500 with wifi for 2 years. I like it. I caught this funny video the other day. You can't say this isn't the first thing you would think off!

It's a very faint ding but had to of happened this past week because I can see it now and I didn't see it on Monday the 8th. So I'm going to call a guy tomorrow who does paintless ding repairs and repair that one along with a couple of others I had when I first bought the car.

If I see another ding pop up i'll confront her. If she denies then i'll take it in my own hands on what to do next. I know I don't want to involve insurance so it leaves me with very few options. I'm sick and tired of these tasteless idiots with no car fashion not giving a SHIT about other peoples cars.

She's prob one of those dumb drivers who say "I use the car to get from a to b, and could care less about dings on mine".

THEREFORE in TURNNNNN she could care less about dinging other property as well.!
Have you tried a magnetic door guard for parking next to the same lady every day? You can't fix stupid, but for $30 you could try to eliminate it. I've got one on my Camaro in my garage because I've tapped it with my other car door. The parking is tight.

They look great but what keeps anyone from pulling them off and stealing them?

Same here. I have a lot of fun clips like cops giving me the thumbs up, double takes, etc, but nothing big. I am not as pleased with the audio quality, but I think my mufflers are to blame.

I run a Mobius dashcam. Small, inconspicuous, and there's great user forums that have all kinds of guys writing new features for it.

Nothing. Mine is only used in my garage. But for the guy that parks his at work, I guess anyone could steal them. They just couldn't put them on their car at the same place, I suppose.

I scored a sweet dash cam for $40 on Amazon this morning with a discount code. It doesn't have GPS, but 4/5 stars from a ton of reviews.

I'm very interested in the mobius as well. Do you have it hooked up to continous power? How long can it record before you need to record over old video? Does it auto overwrite the old videos? And how did you attach the cam to the car?

I did it the lazy way. Lighter power plug, suction cup to windshield. It auto overwrites old video. High quality is about 5m = 500mb, so it depends how big your card is. Having said that, you can pick lower quality settings to save space. There are many fan websites thst discuss the mobius - its very popular in the r/c aircraft space as well, with customizable firmware flashes and everything.

I run two Lukas ace blackbox 7900's one in my Daytona and the other in my 02 WS6, moving it to the newly purchased HW SS as soon as I get a tint strip across the windshield to hide it somewhat. I like the fact that it doesn't have a screen, it's basically just a lens and housing around it. It also has a feed that in my Daytona is activated when I slow to under 8 mph, it displays on my Mygig screen much like that of a back up camera. I haven't had time to see if I can get that to work in the HW SS or not but it will soon be in there. Both cars have a V1 and the Lukas Ace installed permantly and are well hidden behind the tint strip to help prevent theft. The WS6 spends 40-50 hrs a week in the mall parking lot and has never had an issue. The SW of the Lukas Ace is great too and allows you to zoom in and out on recordings as well as pan left/right up/down.
