You Sir are prone to exaggeration. So was your car perfect as it rolled off the assembly line or have you changed it to make it more appealing to you? I can say I have.

Front end looked better in person that's for sure. Rear end is still ugly. IMHO

First I'll say I love the 2010/2013 design. It reminds me of the 1Gen I fell in love with so many years ago. I'd already have one, but have held out for the Z/28 (that's another story).
I have to admit the 2014 front is better, why? It's both more aerodynamic and more aggressive at the same time than the 2010-2013 (not an easy feat). The rear trunk lid and spoiler (especially the Z/28 spoiler) are more aerodynamic and more aggressive than the 2010-2013 as well. And...now the taillights...the lights themselve are a higher quality than the previous, however the loss of the concave area allowing for the blackout tail 1Gen look is a shame. The taillights wrapping the corner take a way from the clean side view of the 2010-2013's. The new license plate area misses compared to the 2010-2013's smooth contours.
Now all that being said, I prefer the 2014 as a whole. I'll take it in black and paint the lower body in matching black gloss. And as for those taillights? I'll black them out as well.

LOL yep I exaggerate all the time....

For the record I like my 12 better than the 14's too, but the 14's will and do appeal to others. I also like my 12 more than I did my 10. And that is no exaggeration!

2010-2013 -> modern day rendition of 60's-70's American car design. When cars ruled the road, design was at it's best.

2014 -> Modern day rendition of 80's-90's American design hell. When cars were dying and design took the backseat to economy.

Ok here's another shocker for ya. On the 2014 convertible they just made a block off panel in place of the 3rd brake light instead of making it all one piece or even two pieces divided in the middle. It really looks weird with the stripes.

Stripes make the car look meaner for the 2014's compared to the 10-13.
