Negative on battery. I did disconnect it when I started to try and avoid issues there.
Turns out I'm just a dumbass and forgot to plug the MAF sensor in.  Finally set of CEL so I could check it with my OBD reader and see what issue was.In good news though, I am not seeing any signs of fuel leaking around the injector today, so that's nice! Not sure what is going on there, but I'll definitely keep an eye on it, as I prefer to not burn the car down.
