I'm telling you. Those vibrating wheels are causing all this. Get those wheels off your car

Mike, I'll sure take you up on that. In the meantime I'll look around too.

Ok......

I just saw a driveshaft for 1500.00

I think I'm gonna go lie down.

EDIT: Here's one. Brand new 380.00 and appears the part number comes with the carrier bearing.

It's ok. I'll wait.

I'll order one on Monday. Doubt I'll get it shipped til Tuesday anyway.

Kinda crazy though. It was going to cost me 450.00 to have this done by the shop. I can buy one, AND have the shop do it for under 400.00 but since I won't have to have the other shop do the bearing I'll just do it myself and get out of it for maybe under 300.00. Looks easy enough.

I wonder if I need to get some bolts? They are one offs aren't they?

I personally bent 3 sets of bolts on the tranny end of my driveshaft. The first time I found I had a issue there was only one of the 3 bolts still tight. Two had completely backed out. Have a Bud up here who had a stock DS let go. What a f-----g mess. Beat the hell out of a lot of stuff, including KOing the plastic gas tank. I'm good with my decision to get rid of the stock DS. no worries now that I have my DSS DS.
