I would be interested in a group buy. For 2 dead pedals.
What is the cost?

OK good start already. I'll keep updating the list below most days. When/if we get to 10 I'll send everyone my Paypal in a PM. After I get everyone's deposit (assuming we get that far) I'll send the accumulated $$ to Ultimate Pedal. Naturally, IF we get at least 10 commitments but never actually get 10 deposits I will alert the laggards by PM and give them x-amount of days to pay but IF they never do and we never get 10 actual deposits I would refund everyone's money but I hope it doesn't come to that 'cause obviously that'd be kind of an extra hassle for yours truly. IF at least a few guys over on the G8 forum (that this info has been posted on) express interest I will enter them on this list also. (I don't know why "the system" here won't save any spacing I tried to put between categories on the list below).

The normal price is $78 plus shipping ($12). The group buy price would be $70.20 and I'll ask the mfg if any reduced rate for shipping can be worked out.

The Ultimate Pedal guy said that with the 10% group buy discount the unit price would be $70.20 and shipping $12.00. But I'm going to ask if we can get a bit of a discount on the shipping also. No one has to actually send me a Paypal yet until I get 10 or more people to sign up. Then I'll ask for the Paypals to be sent, wait x-amount of time for everyone to do so, then send Ultimate our combined $$. So... probably no need to come up with the bucks for a couple weeks I'd say.

How does it install? Does it just go over the dead pedal or do you remove the current dead pedal cover?

goes over the one thats there. comes with 4 screws but i opted for 3m tape for now.. If it doesn't hold up, I will use the screws

Oh ok cool. So this is a custom made dead pedal, because I looked on their website and couldn't find the same one.

correct, this is not universal- It is made to the exact shape of the G8/Camaro foot rest

Wait is this for just the dead pedal?!? At $70 that's too much!! If it's for all the pedals and the dead pedal, then it's a good deal! I'm looking to only spend around $20 max for just the dead pedal.. ebay has the three pedals for $120+ used.
