I’m programming it now, setting colors, LEDs will be RPM for me to know when to paddle shift, it’s a very cool gauge.

I’m a licensed pilot so, the more gauges the better!

It works but, you can tell the OBD2 can play tricks on the nGauge

I've found I need the AeroForce gauges 'unhooked' so the nGauge can 'power up' then, plug in the AeroForce Gauges.

Also, you really need to setup the 'touch' setting as its very 'touchy' ;o).

I've also found the gauge will 're-read' the car -- I'm sure its due to the OBD2 splitter and 'not' an nGauge issue.

BTW you do need to unplug 'all' of this when using HP Tuners MVPI...

OK, everything is back together -- I'm getting and on/off switch for the obd2 port to easily turn off the AeroForce gauges -- that will make it easier for me:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I'll be testing the Meth Flow Gauge and tune tomorrow and log it to make sure. With the LED and Flow Meter, I should know if the meth pump is running!

Once these are finalized, its save up funds time for the auto to be rebuilt -- not that it needs it yet but, we all know things break when it comes to racing...

Great idea on the switch, and yeah, at your power level the trans is probably groaning....

A matter of time... I’m working 2 jobs so it’s time to keep some of it ;o)

Circle D has a stout 6L80e build — good to 800 RWHP... that is what I’m planning on...

Are you considering the reinforced output carrier recommended for heavier cars or are you putting your car on a diet....???

I need to put mine on a diet....

LSA Prometh Install Cont.

Well, my SAE math needs to be rechecked but, I have data to test against it! I found that the math provided what to 'subtract' and I need to update the formula -- no biggie -- part of learning.

Now the AEM Meth Flow gauge -- THAT worked! The LED was again, hit and miss so I can rely on the flow gauge.

After I tested the tune I hooked up the Gauges -- those are working good -- the nGauge will still 'search' and find new car -- need to check that out.

The Lambda is close so I'll leave it where it is -- I’ll have Mark take a gander just to have a second pair of eyes on it.

Here is a shot of the 'mechanical' gauge showing there was still pressure in the line (there is no 'check valve' on the gauge side so it will relieve it over time:

HP Test without the SAE -- I'll figure that out next:

Looking at those #s, for sure can't rely on those compared to a dyno...

Edit:

After re-working the calc, I'm fairly confident the HP way to calc is 'way off' and not worth even messing with -- its a fun feature but, the dyno is really the best way to know.

Talked it over with Mark (ABADZL1) and he also agrees, the calc is not much help...

Found a fueling issue during my testing last night -- not sure 'what' is causing the pressure to drop during transition to WOT:

Never noticed it before but it seems when I go from part throttle to full -- only once now -- I saw it drop.

It started @ about 60 kPa in the MAP:

Only did it the one time but, don't need that happening so I want to find out.

Edit:

Could be relearning since I disconnected the battery. I’ll take it out again to see and log it...

It appears the injector flow rate is being reduced -- its been constant @ cruise and WOT -- just this one time it fluctuated and then came back -- I'm sure due to the fuel pressure drop.

OK, did a BAP adjustment to this:

And now, here is where the pressure is:

Starts to drop around the same kPa (60):

Lowest before moving up (still in transition):

The lowest this time was around ~44 PSI (est.) where the lowest in the last run was ~32 PSI

Gained about ~10-12 PSI -- so I'm heading in the right direction. I'm making another adjustment now and will test tonight.

All of this is happening in milliseconds but thankfully, HP lets me log and find it!

Well, looks like I have a small amount of time where the fuel pressure drops. Tried a couple of things yet it still drops as I go from cruise to WOT (in 3rd gear @ about 70-75 MPH only) below or above that range, I don't see it dropping...

Switch on the OBD Aeroforce gauges worked. I was able to get the nGague going, then switched on the AeroForce....

Nice!
