Lightbulb Message to the Administrator(s)

I wish to mention my appreciation for your remaining grounded, being interested in forum members & flexible in allowing everyone to share thoughts & opinions.

I'm a member of several auto forums & one of the Challenger forums has administrators who seemingly compensate on the forum for their lack of personal & professional authority.
They wish to control what's talked about & are in bed so tightly with sponsors that they would bend over for a nickel.

Anyway, thanks again for making Camaro5 a pleasant place to hang out & participate.

I have to agree, I've seen some forums where the moderators were huuuuge power hungry jerks all the time

you are now on the ban list....lol

I have personally met most of the moderators and they are some of the best people you will ever meet. They bring that personality here along with their enthusiasm for muscle cars.

Tell them we need safe spaces on here lol...and to lift my ban from Camaro 6. Ive been an upstanding forum member for a long time and upsetting a few sweethearts over there is not enough justification to ban me.....

I never heard of the catch can until I joined C5. I love my catch can. I get all excited each time I check the can seeing what evil gremlins it caught.

I was Mod on a motorcycle sport touring forum... any post that was political or religious in nature, was attacking someone, or had any type of foul language was zapped.

Boy howdy, emails back and forth for new members was always a challenge... it got old after a while, and I decided after 7 years of it, I had enough.

I like how it's handled here... the Kawasaki Concours forum I was on got a little heated every once in a while, but was OK compared to others I've seen.

Rob,

I was on sport-touring.net for a year or so and then its spinoff, sport-touring.org for a little while. Always same screen name. I was a high post count guy on sportbikes.net for many years.

Great words, and I'm in full agreement. I've met a few of the moderators at Camarofest and they are cool people.

We're here because we love cars, too. You've got to be as free as your muscle car is on the highway.
