Port Injection Controller - MAF Fusion

Hello all, just wanted to pass on this information for those contemplating port injection for their LT1 engine - The MAF Fusion is now shipping.

It is the controller that we are using on our TVS 2650 Camaro, has worked perfectly and allowed us to achieve as much as 1150RWHP (fuel pump limited) and has some other features that you may/may not need for a reasonable price.

Thanks for the info. It seem like a good realistically priced alternative to some of the other auxiliary fuel controllers on the market. But I have a couple questions:

What software do you tune with?
How well does it piggy back with HP tuners?
What type of fuel injector control does it have (batch or individual)?

The MAF Fusion includes it's own software and has internal logging capability. You can monitor it live or just download the log after a pull/run.

It's independent from HP Tuners, but since it does have CAN capability it's possible that it will be able to log through the HP Scanner in the near future.

The port injectors are fired as 2 batches. On the Camaro we run 8 - 55lb/hr injectors and start firing them at about 50% engine load. We rely on the DI system for about 750RWHP and anything above that is delivered by the port injection system.

I like this approach, on my MSD, it can take 8 injectors, is there a company that makes a fuel rail for this?

Fuel rails for MSD Airforce LT-1 intake to add PFI injection

We haven't checked this ourselves but we have been told that the MAST Motorsports PN 404-200 fuel rails fit the MSD Airforce LT-1 intake if you want to add PFI injectors to the direct injection Gen V LT1 and L86 engines. You will have to make your own brackets since the 404-200 rails are actually for another application - I am told they just happen to fit this intake.

This has me thinking. Even for us simple naturally aspirated guys, I feel as though there could be a benefit to this. Isn't this one of the main advantages the 3rd gen coyote guys have on us currently? The dual injection part, that is.

From a performance standpoint.. possibly. But imo this is only beneficial for cars that need the additional fueling.... BOOST.

Oh, of course. Fueling is one of the primary reasons I have not taken a serious look at boost currently. I don’t have E85 available and I don’t feel like swapping out a cam just to make low 600’s on boost. If it were more accessible, as it was on the Coyote platform, I think it could be far more appealing to folks.

Either way, I still think it’s worth looking into for all-motor applications.

We are a Dealer and know the roduct well

We are currently running this system on Jess Rayo carand all I can say is it is amazing.

His turbos ae not large enough to take full advantage of the extra fuel at full potential but its awesome getting to see the factory injection timing at just 4-5 ms at 700 rwhp.

Any on looking to purchase the easiest to tune controller out there please feel free to purchase off our site.

Thanks
Andy

BTW Jason Haines is one of the most knowledgeable in the business, its his knowledge that made this a reality. Thank you Jason.
