What ?? An EcoBoost F150 has times much lower than that ! Even the 5.7 Tundra and 5.7 Ram do too ! That's slower than a V6 Honda Accord ! That's ridiculous !

Tundra can do 0-60 in high 5s/low 6s.

Even pickuptrucks.com managed a 1/4 mile time of 14.6 @ 95 mph for the ecoboost F150.

agreed - no way those times are accurate. this truck is made for speed - i would imagine it would be high 4's for 0-60 and maybe low to mid 13's for 1/4 mile. just my guess though.

Only times I can find for that type of truck.

Just for reference, my son's 2006 Silverado(5.3) with CAI, ong tubes, O/R Y-pipe and aggressive tune can only manage a 15.6@94mph.

Trucks are slow.

Sure it wasn't a Lightning that someone added Cobra badges to..? I'm sure that by now there are more than a few Lightnings with GT500 transplants in 'em, though they're no slouch with their stock 5.4s...

I'm sure that most car enthusiasts know what a Lightning is, but some might not. From what I understand, it doesn't take much to make 'em a 12 second truck...

I cant wait for people to start modding the ecoboost F-150's. I'm trying to get my friend to lemon law his stock subaru wrx (4th clutch since 09/09) and get an ecoboost FX4 in white and start modding like CAI, muffler delete, tune and some sort of louder BOV if at all possible with Raptor lift rims and tires should be a pretty cool little 1/2 ton especially with its twin turbos singing. I dont know how he should set up his rear on the option list, either 3.73 LSD to avoid the one legger but not as good in the snow as the 3.73 locking rear which is open unless in 4wd then its fully locked. I'm not sure once you start modding if that single rear tire is just going to go up in smoke or not if you order the 4wd locking rear diff. We do live in the snow country and it will see feet of snow during the winter.

Lightnings are NO JOKE. I raced one with my H/C 98 z28 that had a pulley and some other stuff (the blower was loud as hell) and it was a lot closer than I expected. I am glad I won because I talked a lot of trash before hand lol. (which I dont usually do but this kid was a prick and his daddy bought the truck for him etc)

Lightnings can be very lethal. The truck I raced would have blown the doors off of a stock or lightly modded 4th or 5th gen.

^ So can diesel pick ups. Duramax's and Cummins are also very quick with very few mod's. All they really need is a beefed up trans and a tune to be in the 12's due to their ability to spool their turbo to 20psi at the line in 4wd for crazy 60 foots.

Yeah no kidding!

I have seen vids on youtube of big ass f-350's etc running 12's with a tuner. I was like WTF!

They would be absolutely killer at a stoplight lol.
